Pastel
Portraits are completed with soft pastels on PastelMat paper. Only lightfast pigments and acid-free materials are used to create a portrait that will last and not fade if properly cared for.
The pastel portrait is mounted, matted and unframed. I do not 'fix' the pastels as that can alter the colors over time. Once protected under a frame, particularly a museum quality glass, your portrait is well protected from dust and UV light damage.

Order

Once you have an idea of preferred size, send along an inquiry. If you wish to receive your portrait by a specific date, please indicate in your request. I try to accommodate as much as possible but there are certain times of the year that may not be possible. My waitlist is generally 3-6 months.

I'll notify you of my current waitlist time and request photos, at which point we discuss background color, pose, items to be included such as collar, bandana etc.

Once you're happy with the preliminary mock-up I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your commission slot. Which you can pay through this website, Venmo or invoice.

You'll be notified when you portrait has begun and receive a final photo for your approval.
